Inktober 2018 – Day 13 (Guarded)

I meant to upload this yesterday but then I got busy and didn’t have tie to and just wanted to sleep even though I didn’t end up sleeping until 3am to look at Mystery Skulls Animated stuff.

Anyways, I’m not going to put the “late” mention anyways because I did finish this on the day. Also remember these guys? Haven’t drawn them in a while and I’ve been doing some character redesigning by making things look a bit better with the designs. There are a lot of things I want to work on in terms of stories and characters. I oughta re-draw them again with references.

Inktober 2018 – Day 10 (Flowing), Day 11 (Cruel)

I ended up not posting my Inktober picture for yesterday because I got a bad headache and needed to sleep it off. Couldn’t work past it so I just slept. As a result, have a two in one for today!

When I imagined “Flowing”, my first thought was the idea of fabric like a dress of some sort. I thought it’d be a cute idea after all and I’d say it was. Or at least one that would be pretty and Silvia was the best model for it. …Except while sketching it, I wasn’t sure if I was drawing a flowing dress right so I asked @thelegochicken to help. Thanks Keith!

And for “Cruel”, it was a different thought process. I wanted to go with something a little gorier but I have limited skill in inking with Inktober and the ideas I had were a higher caliber. So I wanted something that conveyed it but wouldn’t be difficult to ink. What did I decide on? Dismembering a puppet. Perfect. Although I don’t get to draw Maxim frowning a lot so that’s a bonus!

Inktober 2018 – Day 9 (Precious)

I’m sorry I got distracted looking at old posts in my tumblr tags that I forgot to post this.

Anyways, this was pretty hard for me to think of because like some of the other themes, I wasn’t sure what my idea would be. And did I convey it well? Ehhhhhh… It was hard. Although it is one of the first times I’ve drawn one of my Detective Akiyama characters in a while. I should really try to redesign them and actually finish a line-up with some of my “Main characters”.

Inktober 2018 – Day 8 (Star)

I updated my Amino app and it’s not working now so I’m sad. Although I still have this done and at least I can upload it onto tumblr. So here’s what I’ve done with “Star”. I wanted to try and colour in this sky too but uhhh… it didn’t work out too great and I was hating how it looked.

So a more background like picture will do.

Inktober 2018 – Day 7 (Exhausted)

I was going to go with something a bit more complex but the sketch kept frustrating me and I was tired from doing work today so I settled on something simpler. I mean, when I think “Exhausted”, the most obvious thing I think about is Carsten and his insomnia.

I should draw him more and post them more. Maybe he’ll be my… uhhh… fourth in queue for redraw references to finish drawing.

Inktober 2018 – Day 5 (Chicken)

For the first time, I’ve drawn not only one of my own OCs but also a friend’s! We have Sark (the one holding the egg and belongs to @thelegochicken) and Quinn (my OC! The one behind Sark). They’re half-siblings and our Stardew Valley farmers in co-op!

They have fun interactions trying to take care of a farm together. It’s Sark who owns it because fuck capitalism and Quinn tagged along to know what country life is like. Also she likes animals.

Inktober 2018 – Day 4 (Spell)

Dumb boy tries to use forbidden magic despite being told all his life not to.

Anyways I wanted to draw a more concrete (I guess?) design in how he looked before things happened. ‘Cause this is what he looks like currently. And honestly, this turned out very good.

Except the mouth. I messed up inking the mouth but everything else looks great.

Inktober 2018 – Day 3 (Roasted)

Back at it again with my Danganronpa OCs.

This one was harder to think of since all I knew for the theme is that I wanted to use fire. How though was the bigger question for me. And trying to draw this when you’ve been busy and lacking energy was an even worse idea. Although I’m still somewhat glad. Little bit of a downgrade from my other two drawings but eh. They can’t all be winners as long as I get practice and have some fun with it.

Imagine this as like… Webber’s nightmare or something. Fire near his home? Not fun.

Inktober 2018 – Day 2 (Tranquility)

It’s been a while since I drew a Pokemon gijinka too. I guess this is how I’m dealing with things now.

Anyways, this gal’s name is Kaelin and she’s a Gardevoir. I wanted to try and draw a depiction of Calm Mind. That’s something I’d like to do among the long list of things I’d like to draw more of. Some depiction of gjinkas using Pokemon moves.

I used a filter with this one because when I tried to take the picture at home, it just left this gross looking dark yellow colour and I didn’t want that. But everything’s fine with this filter. It’s much better in my opinion.
