I posted a sketch of the new design I was thinking of giving Maxim so I decided to sprite it since it’s easier for me to try and sprite him than Samson.
It looks a lot better! So I’m happy with it but I hope that it doesn’t look too out of place around my other OCs.
That’s the only thing I can hope.
More updated sprite edits.
I’ve been meaning to finish Silvia’s in a while but now it’s done. It definitely looks better but I’m tempted to change a few more things.
But for now, she still looks very nice.
I also changed her earrings to be more rounded. Also the treble clef is bound to change… That’s annoying to draw… I need to find an easier way to draw it…
Finished up making a new neutral sprite for Dahlia!
I changed her neutral expression (mostly since I never understood why some of the characters have their mouth open and decided this was better) and tried to make her bandana more of a bandana.
I like it a lot better. She looks even more cute and miserable!
New neutral sprite for Lavinia! Oh my God look at that improvement.
The only thing that’ll make these sprites better is better attention to color detail! … And likely general detail… … And drawing arms better.
But whatever! Wow I’m happy with how this came out! She looks fantastic! So much better than her last sprite! I’m so glad I decided to re-do it!
New sprite update, this time with Carsten.
I mostly changed this for eye positioning but just decided his entire sprite could use a re-do.
Looks a lot cleaner now and I like it.
This is what improvement looks like, right?
I’ve decided to re-do Candace’s sprite because I realized how old the first sprite was, especially since I decided to make her a bit chubbier. There’s definitely a good difference but I don’t know if I did that good of a job with changing the body type. But I’m still happy. Especially with the head shape. I’m super happy with the adjustments I’ve done with the head shape.
Also, if you can see from the old and new sprite, there are some other changes. For example, I took away the peppermint pattern around the pockets mostly because I keep forgetting to add them so they were becoming a burden. They look a bit more boring but I’m thinking about how to compensate for it. If anyone has any suggestions I’m happy to take them.
Also, I darkened her hair color and gave her some more hair as well. That’s always nice.
I’m happy with how these came out and I’ve already updated her introduction card too! So no hold backs on that as well! I’m thinking of updating some of the neutral sprites for some of my other characters since I’m at least somewhat better at creating sprites. Still no master (especially with color) but I’m very happy with what I’m capable of doing.
Another polished up/redone sprite! This time, for Francis!
Again, the same reasons for Webber, there are some lines that I don’t like I’ve created with Francis’ old sprite so I fixed that up and changed the positioning of the eyes as well. Now Francis looks really nice except I should’ve made the jacket baggier.
I finally got the time to re-make Webber’s neutral sprite.
It does look better than the other sprite. See, what bothered me about it was mostly the unnecessary clothes folds that kind of annoyed me and the detail I put at his ears was kind of… strange to me.
I don’t know if I’ll remake anyone else’s sprites. Except I’m glad with how this came out. I somehow managed to make his face look smaller I think. Which means eventually I’ll get to remaking his intro card.

Since I’ve been making introduction cards for all my characters for my story, I need an actual neutral sort of sprite for Thomas since I’ve decided on a new character base. Therefore, I created a new neutral sprite for him using said character. Hopefully he looks different from the other character I used the same character base for!
I like this new sprite a good deal. But I swear, Thomas has gone through so many sprite changes… I think he matches up with how many sprite changes I’ve given Setsuko. Maybe even more actually…
