So I heard it was the first day of spring and I tried to draw a thing for spring. I’m really hoping these fully draw monthly drawings I’ve decided to do will help me improve drawing and colouring in backgrounds.

This isn’t too bad and at least it isn’t a solid colour. It has a bit more in it. Also it’s the closest I’ve done of something for one of my characters’ birthdays even though it was technically Dahlia’s birthday yesterday. But I literally didn’t want to do anything from a very bad headache I had.

Well, not better time than the first day of spring! I love the spring. The air is crisp and fresh and the flowers start growing again. It’s a nice time. Even though it’s gross and messy from the snow melting.

I realized I should work more on posting these gijinka designs I have for these characters. I like the ideas I have thought of so… yeah. I have an idea of what I want to do with it.

Anyways, Storm is probably one of my favourites mostly because I have fun drawing his design and the personality I have for him. And before you ask, the reference wasn’t intentional.

So I’ve made my own Valentine’s Day cards so I’m posting the empty bases here. I have some of my OCs and some of other characters. Being Waluigi and two Undertale children.

So if you remember that one doodle I drew of these two, I decided to colour it in since I’ve had colour schemes for them for a while now. So here we have Damien and Rina.

I really like these colour schemes. But these two are some of my favourite gijinkas I have created. I’ve had them since Pokemon Black since I ended up really liking these Pokemon. Two of my favourites from generation five.

I’ve been in the mood to make pokemon gijinkas again. Mostly for something that I think I would like to do (involving teams. there’ll be no trainer but there will be a leader. Not Audrey but I’ll try and finish up her design) but we’ll have to see what I decide to do with that. Since I am thinking about bringing it back, there is a chance it might be a comic? I dunno. Or just something else for me to draw and practice with.

But here’s Audrey! She’s the best friend of the unknown leader. She really loves fashion, dressing up and battling. Though when exploring, this is what she usually wears. As long as she can go feeling safe from hurting herself too much and look cute. She has other outfits for more casual events too.

I love this song. I absolutely adore it. I can’t quite explain why, it may not objectively be the best song on the album (I actually think Pity Party is my favourite) but man it’s still a great song. This idea has been in my mind for a while now actually, so now I’m finally getting to do it! And I may have already put some expectations on myself for this year… This is the most time I’ve spent with a background. It may also be the best background I’ve ever done. Those suites were annoying to do. I had to settle with my own way.

Still, I’m already impressed with this! It looks pretty good. Though give me a couple of months and we’ll see what I think of it then. For now, yeah I’m glad about this. Maybe next I’ll actually doodle some things to try and show more of my characters’ personalities for this story I’m now not sure if I’ll ever finish writing.

I can’t draw spaghetti. I tried but I had no other idea on how to draw it.

I did one of those Draw your OCs things again. I used my main OCs because it’s been a while since I drew anything with them so one thing I’d like to try to do for this year is draw them more. Or at least try because I do want to try the best I can.

There’s no such thing as too much spaghetti after all! Even if I can’t draw it!

So I think I said before that I wanted to re-do Giselle’s design since I realized I didn’t like looking at it so here it is. I decided to keep the colours as they are because those look fine. I just hated how I did the hair with the clothes so I just changed everything. I’ve decided to do some tweaks to her backstory as well but I’m glad that this looks a lot better than it was before.

So yeah. New design for Giselle. I don’t know if I’ll do more since I know I have one character who I want to change. Only with clothes though since everything else is fine but I might add more characters with glasses.

I like to draw some talentswaps for my characters and sometimes I use the canon talents mostly for fun. And sometimes I like to imagine what they’d be like as a story but I don’t really go anywhere with them. They’re just fun to think about for daydreaming. Also, imagining what they look like in that talent is pretty fun! Oh and thinking how the backstory I’ve thought of would work with it along with how their personality will work with it.

I drew a rough design for Lavinia as the SHSL Musician (or… Ibuki’s talent. It’s called Ultimate Musician in the localized game so I’m rolling with it since I can’t call her a Light Club Music Member). And I REALLY like how I drew this so I drew a version I could colour in and yeah it looks really good. I really like drawing Lavinia in different outfits especially to try and draw her hair differently. Here, I just didn’t include the streaks because it just looked better. … And honestly I need to change her design to fix those streaks in her current design. But still, I really like this. I love drawing talentswaps.
