Coloured in the picture with McKenna next. I actually had a hard time with the hair and this is what I came up with. I like the idea of her being blonde and dyeing her hair black.

Also I really need to learn to use less blues. Though I hope it isn’t too distracting. I’m trying to use other colours… For the next one I’m working on, there’ll still be a blue but at least there’ll be mainly a different colour.

Also, as a quick note, it would seem my set of DR OCs have a frequency of shade of reds (with some exceptions) and this set of OCs has a large frequency of blues. Oh and I also decided that she does have a tattoo! On the back of her neck. I hope to doodle more of these guys an draw her with said tattoo.

Coloured in another one of the OC October doodles! This time, we have our local jinx Calvin.

He’s one character (and maybe the only?) whom I’ve given a Race Lift as he was originally intended to be lighter skinned but then I changed my mind. And I’m not upset I think it was a good idea he looks a lot better. I tried to make the colours as tacky looking as possible but I don’t mind this. I like how this came out! I’m very happy with this.

OC October Day 31 – Maxim Facilier

And a happy Halloween to you all! In order to wrap up OC October, I decided to draw my favourite of my OCs. Yeah, mulling over it a lot, I realized Maxim is likely my favourite from the OCs I’ve made in the past year. I can’t really explain why, I just like the work I’ve done with planning his characters. Like I said, he’s the reason I make puns now.

But I always see him as someone who listens to Panic! at the Disco and likes steampunk fashion. So let’s combine the both and draw him dressed like Brendon Urie in the Ballad of Mona Lisa music video. It is pretty snazzy wear! I just can’t portray it well enough because I couldn’t find a lot of pictures properly depicting the details.

But this was fun to do! I kinda want to do another sort of “one picture a month” thing for November as well. Just a thing I want to do on my own since I like this kind of “Do whatever you want” month challenges. Less boundaries that way but we’ll see. If I do, it’ll involve AUs. But yeah, hope you guys have a happy Halloween! Thanks for tolerating me up to this point!

OC October Day 30 – Lavinia Eliade

I try not to go too far from my old OCs regular designs with these costumes… But honestly, I couldn’t really help myself with Lavinia. She is a hair stylist anyways and she likes trying different styles. And what’s my reason for choosing to draw Lavinia for today? Well it happens to be the day of her birthday at least with how I assigned it!

So it’s a special day for her so I decided, yeah I’ll use her. She’s dressed in one of Marina’s outfits in the Primadonna music video. She looks really nice and I like drawing Lavinia in different outfits when I can. I’m also gonna post an OC Fact since I do that too with my OCs birthdays so I’ll do that when I get to it.

OC October Day 25 – Richard

So I realized I forgot to mention that after drawing Giselle, I’ve essentially finished drawing all my female characters. As for the males, I’ve got about four more plus one canon character I am adding to this cast when I get to the fanfic.

Anyways, Richard. He’s known as the Animal Tamer. He’s a shy guy whose more confident with his family and animals. I like how his design game out. He is smol and squishy. Oh yeah and I mentioned family for a good reason.

So I decided to get back to colouring in Ollie’s picture again since I have made the decision that her and Richard are cousins. I imagine she told him she was auditioning for the show and suggested he do it too, stating that he has a good chance (she is a fortune teller after all) so he tried it out. And what do you know? They both got in!

Richard is an only child so his closest family member (who isn’t his parents) is his cousin Ollie. It’s good for him since there’s at least someone whose familiar to him on the show. As for the colours with Ollie’s clothes, there’s a lot of greens and yellow. Kinda light kinda dark colours. I think I like this.

And for the headband, it’s a bit rough but I remember seeing a girl on the train I take to get to school wear one of those and I was inspired.

OC October Day 24 – Giselle

Her label here is “The Phoneaholic”. In terms of character, I don’t have much that doesn’t seem standard. Though there is something with her character that I want to try out. And at least I do have plans for her. Though there might be things with her character design I’ll change.

… Yeah you can tell I don’t have a lot to say.

Since I really need to get up and actually colour these doodles in, I’ve gotten a start on them with Jones here. So here’s the coloured version of the first drawing I’ve done of him.

I didn’t really change anything in his design. All I did was add the colour and they aren’t bad though I should lay down on the blues. I know only his pants are blue here but I should deter on them a bit. Never thought of a pattern for his shirt in the end but whatever. If I feel like it, I might add one if I can ever think of one.

Some sort of insigna or whatever. I don’t know of what. He’s an Occult Fan, maybe some magic symbol? Eh.

OC October Day 23 – Tessa

I have no way to segway into talking about this character. But this is Tessa who has the label “The Tech Nerd”. She’s very tech savvy and has always been complimented for how good she is with technology. She likes to make gadgets that help out with small every day things. Her best invention is a small robot that collects small items.

I haven’t drawn it yet because I need to get used to drawing robots but still. I like her. She gets along with Jones but they won’t be a couple because Jones is gay and she just doesn’t care about romance.

Oh and I can’t draw braces.

OC October 18 – Delmar Cabrera (winter clothes)

So I’m doing something a little different. I think I’m allowed to draw my OCs in different outfits? I’m pretty sure the requirements of OC October is just to draw your OCs. And I’m still doing that with Delmar. And due to how it started kinda snowying/flurrying and it’s been getting cold up here, I’ve been thinking about my OCs. I know it’s not December yet but… I’ve had this on my mind I’m sorry.

Delmar hates warm weather and cold weather. He deals with warm weather a lot based on where he lives. Gets worst in the summer and the place hes pends a lot of time at hasn’t had the air conditioner fixed yet. When he started to experience cold weather, he ended up hating it too since he’s not used to it. He prefers mild weather. Not too cold, not too warm. Hard to get that unfortunately.

His first experience with snow and cold weather made him find out he gets cold easily. He’s especially bitter during the winter.
