OC October Day 17 – Bianca

Finally! New OC design for those Total Drama OCs I’ve been working on! I’ve lost count at how many I’ve finished but it seems to be a pretty good amount. I don’t know if I have a lot left. I just need to colour in the ones I’ve done sketches for.

But Bianca! She’s known as the Starving Artist. What’s she doing in a TD fanfic? She just wants to advertise her art honestly. Though it’s hard to try and live on her own expenses when her parents insist she look more presentable. Can’t stop her from wearing the hat though.

OC October Day 11 – Natalie

One thing I didn’t mention is that some of these OCs are rehashes from some old Total Drama OCs I made when I was younger (that were all recolours so let’s not talk about those ones). I have one more I haven’t gotten a design for and Frank was the first one (whom I decided to give a No Celebrities Were Harmed type design). Now for Natalie whom I’ve labelled as “The Perfectionist”.

I find some of the colours a bit off-putting and something else that’s off-putting so I might change things in the future (might) but here she is. I think she’s fun to write for.

OC October Day 10 – Frank

So one thing that Total Drama has done now these days is making characters with the “No Celebrities Were Harmed” trope. So why not make one myself? Bringing in Frank, whose the Aspiring Rapper. And that’s all I’m gonna say related to him. I think that’ll tell you all you need to know based on who he’s based off. Though it might be more obvious.

OC October Day 9 – Alter

So last year, I revamped Alter for Character Drawcember. I decided to finally revisit that and draw Alter with a few different colours. Still relatively dark but definitely different. I also fully decided he’d be a mage who specializes with defense and altercation spells (being able to change his environment though that isn’t as strong).

I’m gonna need a better introduction for him anyways because I plan on drawing him again this month for that other thing I’ll eventually draw another thing for.

OC October Day 5 – Naomi

I finished this yesterday which is why it’s coloured. Though for the next three days (maybe four I dunno), they’ll all be doodles. I don’t know if I’ll post any new ones but if I do, I’ll have to colour them in later.

Naomi is yet another TD character that I’ve thought of along with Addison. I like the concept I have for her (The Sleepyhead) and I like the design. I got some inspiration from another character I like a lot. But mainly with one aspect. I dunno, I think she looks cute.

So in terms of count for these designs that’s 2 down, 17 to post. Eventually. When I actually finalize those…

OC October Day 4 – Elio

So this time, I have an OC revamp that’s really over due. Though it was mainly because I wanted to solidify the ideas I had with him. Yet here he is, Elio. He’s another OC that started off as a Minecraft one and I revamped to be completely original. Now he’s a prince and a healer in training since he has been learning how to use healing magic (he’s about 13 here).  While he was born without arms, he has found a way to use healing magic.

I like how this design came out though it might be revamped a little bit (probably with the boots). In this, I mainly dew him in a design I thought of for the setting of the story I’m thinking of using him in.

OC October Day 3 – Addison

Yay for brand new OC ideas.

So. Considering how deep I’ve been in Total Drama hell, even if it’s mainly the latest season, I’ve had the thoughts about making a fan fiction. I don’t know if I’ll end up keep going with it but I’ve always wanted to finish a multi-chaptered fan fiction. That’s one of my goals and my DR one is still in a bit of a rut. Maybe (?) I can do better with a TD one but I have no idea. We’ll have to see I guess.

Anyways, I have been thinking about characters and I have 19 new character concepts. Here’s one of them, Addison! I call her “The Memory Maker” (though I doubt this is an actual thing) or “The Photographer” but I might go with the former as a title for her. She’s just very ecstatic about trying new things and always takes photos of them with her camera to keep the memories safe. I love the design I have for her and the colours as well.

I’ve been having this problem lately in which I’ve been thinking a lot about side characters. And finally finalizing designs for certain characters like some of the other Gaming Club members. Though I’m starting to wonder if I should’ve chosen their colour palettes while looking at the other designs I have…

We’ll see later I guess. I do intend on drawing something quickly to compare heights with at least just some of the gaming club members.

I said I’d colour this in and I did.

It was something for Bisexual Visiblity Day, and I mainly wanted it to focus with Thomas (I see him as bisexual while Francis doesn’t identify to a sexuality but knows they like girls) and Francis is supporting him ‘cause they’re friends.

I was debating whether or not to add words but I decided not to for this one. Especially since it’s belated… But I did post the sketch/doodle…

I didn’t put a white background here but I actually did finish another outfit of one of my OCs dressed as a Fire Emblem class, again mostly going from Awakening because I’m more familiar with it.

I should point out that with this one, I combined the outfits of both the male Mercenary and female Mercenary outfits but mainly the male (if you compare this outfit to Gregor’s and Inigo’s) because of how I’ve introduced Francis. Though there are parts of the female’s that may not be obvious (no leg cuff things, rather lines that go down like in Severa’s and the generic female Mercenary outfit) and not to mention, I mixed the sleeves of the male and female’s. But this was fun drawing! Though I hope the colours don’t seem too dull since it IS mostly grey. I mostly associate orange with Francis but I couldn’t help but use greys. Thinking about it, I don’t know if orange would work too well… Hmm…

Still, I was thinking Francis be a Tactician initially but I decided that Mercenary would be better. Why not Tactician? I thought about how Tactician was reserved for the main character so I chose a different one and Mercenary seemed like a good idea. And Francis looks pretty damn good with the Merc outfit. I like this a lot! I’m hoping I can make the second character I’ve assigned Mercenary to looks different.
