Delmar: … Put that mug down and get some sleep.
I was thinking about this for some reason. My mom owns a pairs of boots that go up to your knees that I’ve worn a few times and yes, this has gone in my head. This exact thought process.
It made me want to draw something with my OCs and I decided on Carsten. He’s likely someone who, after not getting a lot of sleep for a few days, he’d almost act drunk and say almost everything that’s on his mind regardless of how strange it sounds.
I doodled this out today and thought it looked cute. I might try to fully draw it and colour it in.
Love that platonic relationship.
There is still snow on the ground so technically I am still allowed to draw and post this.
Anyways I mentioned that Delmar hates cold weather. His first experiences with winter also helped him discover he gets cold easily. As a result, his winter wear is a bit heavier than some of the others even if sometimes it isn’t extremely cold. He probably also wears two sweaters underneath.
Just a preview basically on what I’m working on. Since I’m knee deeps in AUs involving my OCs, I’ve been working on a Fire Emblem one. Then I decided that for fun, I’d make pixels of what classes from Awakening I think they’d have but no special classes like Tactician or Lord.
I’ve finished the first row from the four and so far, I have 5/16 done. And yes, I am including them all into one because the pixels are relatively small. This is kind of annoying to do but in the end, I’m happy with the end result with… well… Three out of five of them though the two I’m not satisfied with it’s mostly because hair colouring was annoying. Overall though I’m happy and looking forward to finishing them all.
I wanted to draw Carsten and while I had other ideas, all I could draw was Carsten stressed and suffering.
I think my subconscious is telling me something.
OC October 18 – Delmar Cabrera (winter clothes)
So I’m doing something a little different. I think I’m allowed to draw my OCs in different outfits? I’m pretty sure the requirements of OC October is just to draw your OCs. And I’m still doing that with Delmar. And due to how it started kinda snowying/flurrying and it’s been getting cold up here, I’ve been thinking about my OCs. I know it’s not December yet but… I’ve had this on my mind I’m sorry.
Delmar hates warm weather and cold weather. He deals with warm weather a lot based on where he lives. Gets worst in the summer and the place hes pends a lot of time at hasn’t had the air conditioner fixed yet. When he started to experience cold weather, he ended up hating it too since he’s not used to it. He prefers mild weather. Not too cold, not too warm. Hard to get that unfortunately.
His first experience with snow and cold weather made him find out he gets cold easily. He’s especially bitter during the winter.
I said I’d draw all my DR OCs with at least one of these expressions and here’s the final set I guess!
I don’t like how some of these came out because they ended up looking at lot worse when I coloured them in. Though I’m not too bitter as it just shows me what I need to work on. I should draw more coloured things.
Delmar has pistanthrophobia.
I remember I made a bunch of older ones but considering I changed up a lot of the sprites, I had to remake some of them. So introduction cards for my characters!

Delmar can’t see without his glasses on. He has a hard time properly doing anything which is why he usually wears them.
Unfortunately for him, the others enjoy stealing them and wearing them.
