Since I’ve been wanting to work more on this, this is just among my list of redesigns to work/re-work on. Although I know what has priority… Still, when I saw this again, I thought it’d be great to redraw it to juts see how much my art hss improved. So here we are. First time I even thought of making Kaoru Shirogane and now it’s been revamped.
This was originally based off a Vine by Matt Post (which I can only find as a repost on YouTube).
Remember these guys? It’s been a while since I’ve drawn them and it was pretty fun. Except from trying to get the heights half accurate. Mostly accurate. I keep finding when I do traditional art after a long bought of digital art, I try to use the tools I have on something like FireAlpaca. That… would’ve really helped with some of these honestly…
So if you want some background with this one, I was imagining some sort of display where someone put a pumpkin pie slice with a jack o’ lantern. And that was basically the thought process behind this.
Although since this is the last day of Inktober, I had to say that I really enjoyed drawing these! It was fun working with an actual ink pen this time. And I also really enjoyed working on some of these. They were overall all better than the ones I had drawn last year honestly. Improvements! And following a prompt list was a nice little challenge! I enjoyed working on this and I’m sad that it’s over. But maybe I’ll try to do some more ink drawings just casually outside of October. Who knows!

And if you want to know the costumes, Tiff is Patton Sanders/Morality, Brandon was going to be Junkenstein and then I changed my mind and just made him a mad scientist, Taylor’s a cat, Pablo’s McCree and Benten is Logan Sanders/Logic.

So here are the two Inktobers I’ve done yesterday and today respectively! I decided to draw my DR OCs for “Double” (and a look at one of the redesigns I’m thinking of with Setsuko) and some Mystery Skulls for “Jolt”! Hey, Hellbent was released this month and it was good timing. I just had to draw something for it.
Although I wanted to be a reference post-events shown in Ghost, this is going to have to be before because… well… I forgot to make Arthur’s left arm mechanical.
I’ve had these finished on their respective days but I don’t have these saved onto my computer yet. I’ve started posting them using my computer since I don’t like the format that’s used when I try to post them on mobile.
I’m gonna slowly work on posting them now and since this is the first one I have finished and actually had saved, it’s being posted on its own. I’ll probably post most of the others into one post except for today’s.
Anyways, this is Kiran. She’s my Emolga gjinka and has some self-esteem issues when it comes to her ability to fight. She’s been teased a lot as a kid and wants to try and get stronger to shake off the teasing she faced in the past.
EDIT: I messed up and forgot there was one I haven’t even downloaded yet or posted onto Discord. This is actually Day 15. To make up for this, I’m posting the Day 14 one with the other ones I’ve missed bar today’s.
I meant to upload this yesterday but then I got busy and didn’t have tie to and just wanted to sleep even though I didn’t end up sleeping until 3am to look at Mystery Skulls Animated stuff.
Anyways, I’m not going to put the “late” mention anyways because I did finish this on the day. Also remember these guys? Haven’t drawn them in a while and I’ve been doing some character redesigning by making things look a bit better with the designs. There are a lot of things I want to work on in terms of stories and characters. I oughta re-draw them again with references.
I ended up not posting my Inktober picture for yesterday because I got a bad headache and needed to sleep it off. Couldn’t work past it so I just slept. As a result, have a two in one for today!
When I imagined “Flowing”, my first thought was the idea of fabric like a dress of some sort. I thought it’d be a cute idea after all and I’d say it was. Or at least one that would be pretty and Silvia was the best model for it. …Except while sketching it, I wasn’t sure if I was drawing a flowing dress right so I asked @thelegochicken to help. Thanks Keith!
And for “Cruel”, it was a different thought process. I wanted to go with something a little gorier but I have limited skill in inking with Inktober and the ideas I had were a higher caliber. So I wanted something that conveyed it but wouldn’t be difficult to ink. What did I decide on? Dismembering a puppet. Perfect. Although I don’t get to draw Maxim frowning a lot so that’s a bonus!
I’m sorry I got distracted looking at old posts in my tumblr tags that I forgot to post this.
Anyways, this was pretty hard for me to think of because like some of the other themes, I wasn’t sure what my idea would be. And did I convey it well? Ehhhhhh… It was hard. Although it is one of the first times I’ve drawn one of my Detective Akiyama characters in a while. I should really try to redesign them and actually finish a line-up with some of my “Main characters”.
I updated my Amino app and it’s not working now so I’m sad. Although I still have this done and at least I can upload it onto tumblr. So here’s what I’ve done with “Star”. I wanted to try and colour in this sky too but uhhh… it didn’t work out too great and I was hating how it looked.
