Took some suggestions from @whatsupwithmymind and rolled up the sleeves of the blazer. It would likely look a bit different… I kind of doubt with the blazer I based it on it would look like this but, yeah this is a good idea.
Oh and I found some nice shoes to use. Can’t wait to colour this in. Thanks for the suggestion!
… So I doodled things. More gjinkas or at least ones I have a finished design for sorta. They look a lot better on paper I swear. The point I’m trying to bring here, I guess, is that with this thing that’s been on my mind, I’ve been revamping old OCs I’ve had. Man I have a ton of OCs that were abandoned. These two aren’t the only ones either.
I call them headshots but… no they’re mostly doodles of me wanting to see the colours I wanted to use for them. I’ll say some more about them when I draw a proper reference of some sort.
A lot of my doodles were of drawing (trying to) draw alternate outfits. Then I remembered one Jimquisition I watched where it starts with him trying to tie a tie properly and when we see Jim again… Well… Just watch it here if you want.
I remember how I noted that Carsten can’t properly tie a tie either. So I drew this. It was originally going to be a small comic but I changed my mind yet I still liked the idea of him walking into his family or the other students and just seeing how hard he tried.
Will he ever learn how to tie a tie? Who knows.
I’ve been looking through some fashion stuff to try and get a better sense (keyword: try) of fashion in order to come up with a better design for Peter.
It’s a shame to change it when I kept it the same for this long but I feel like I should. Make him seem more like a fashion designer but also be more casual. I dunno if I want to go with another blazer but whatever. I’ll try to make it resemble the first one as much as I can too.
Current sketch/doodle for something I’ve had in my mind for a while. My last full art piece as I call it was based on a song (sorta). Time for another one!
My previous idea was to do one to another Panic! song but I changed my mind. I’ll get that one done eventually.
So when I saw this emoji meme, I decided that to draw some of my main OCs with some of the expressions. As a result, I didn’t draw all of them since I couldn’t really make up my mind for which ones to use for some of them. However, I already did something like that with my DR OCs so may as well do that with these guys.
I need to draw them more after all. Also, you might notice I made some small design changes for some of them. Or at least two. Viv now has visible eye bags underneath their eyes (because if they’re gonna be a character based on my persona they need eye bags and at least one of them should have them) and I tried to make Terry’s freckles more visible.
I’ve been wanting to draw Keiboru looking more… “normal”. I consider this a talentswap of sorts (with my OCs) so I guess… SHSL Good Luck? Yeah i guess. Though this isn’t that good of a design for SHSL Good Luck Keiboru (or more appropriately, since I apply the nickname only with his main talent of being a k-pop star, Hyun-tae).
I like drawing his hair in its natural hair colour and with a more… downward style. Like just letting it flow as it is.
I wanted to draw Carsten and while I had other ideas, all I could draw was Carsten stressed and suffering.
I think my subconscious is telling me something.
