Siblings. Yay!
I’ve planned that Thomas have two older siblings and I finally thought of decent designs for them. I am planning on something to give some more information on them along with the family members of some of my other DR OCs. It’ll be another long OC Fact that’ll be updated when I come up with new things like the phobia one.
I’m happy with the designs I gave them. While I might tweak them a bit in the future (give Rory actual casual clothes), this is what I have.
OC October Day 29 – Webber Track
Continuing on with this theme I’m having for the week of Halloween, here’s Webber dressed as Toon Link because he’s quite cute as Toon Link. This is an idea i’ve had in my mind a lot and honestly, it’s one of my favourites. I could’ve used Young Link from Ocarina of Time considering I have a forest motif with Webber a lot, but honestly if I had to choose a reincarnation of Link he’d be, it’d probably be the Wind Waker one.
OC October Day 28 – Peter Essex
With me keeping up with the new TD season, I knew that at some point I’d have to dress one of my OCs as one of the characters. But since I want to keep my way with my DR ones, I might do it with some of my main ones later. Maybe tomorrow when I post more doodles. Or tonight. You’ll see what I mean when I get to those.
Anyways, I was at a standstill until I remembered something. One of my problems when drawing Tom is telling myself “Don’t make him look like Peter.” So there was my idea and since I had the time to colour this in being stuck at home. Nothing special though. It may as well still be a doodle honestly.
At least with this, I know exactly what I’m drawing and that’s simply my OC. Though to be fair, Tom looks better in that shirt than Peter does. I think it’s the hair colour…
OC October Day 27 – Vera Floyd
Sure am glad that this getting my teeth ripped out doesn’t give me enough pain to keep me from drawing for this. When I looked at the new design I gave Vera (close wise) I couldn’t help but think about the uniforms in Attack on Titan.
So what better way than to draw Vera as one of the characters? I decided on Mikasa because from the things I know about Mikasa, I can see the similarities. Though Vera is a lot more quiet than Mikasa. So that’s a thing. Also Vera looks nice with a scarf.
OC October Day 26 – Francis Beryl
So I decided that I’m gonna take a break from character design for this week since it’s the week of Halloween (and I’m getting my wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow sooo…) and draw some of my already known OCs dressed as other characters! Because that’s fun.
I’m starting off with Francis as a FNAF night guard. I just liked the idea and I was intending on doing this before at some point. Now is a good time than any other!
OC October Day 22 – ??? Adame
So I don’t have much for today. Didn’t have enough time to think of a design, and honestly I just wanted to doodle dumb small things I may post later. Possibly tomorrow since I need to sleep soon. Also I’ve been too pre-occupied with studying and a certain new song I can’t stop listening to but probably should just to give myself a break and not grow tired of it.
Is this guy new? Sort of. Who knows? Though he does look kinda familiar. The most I can say is his last name. Though it won’t tell you much. Except he’s been on my mind when listening to this new song. So I can safely say he’s relevant at least.
OC October Day 21 – McKenna
Awww yeah loving the progress I’m making for these OCs. It’s fun to make new OCs to try some new things I haven’t done yet. Or at least attempt. So here is McKenna whose “The Rebel”. Maybe something else with “The Rebel” but that’s all I have for the moment. But I don’t mind.
I am in love with how her design came out. I especially like the idea of fishnet gloves. I was going to give her streaks but I have no idea how to show those. And the less she looks like Gwen, the better. Not in a disrespect to Gwen, just don’t want them looking too alike.
I did have a rebel character from those old recolours I had (guess of who) so I’m using the concept again but changing the name. And she’s chubby because why not. Might change a few things when I colour it in (add more detail to the jean jacket, maybe give her a tattoo?) but still. I’m happy with this. Really happy.
OC October Day 20 – Winona
It’s interesting trying to draw a character with a hijab. A good experience! And looking at references for casual fashion is fun too because they look so good. So this is Winona whose got the label “The Leader-To-Be”.
I like what I have for her. She’s definitely a cool big sister type and a determined person. Though I wish I could think of more dark-skinned characters for this. I have a number of them but I don’t think it’s completely enough I’ll be honest
Her, along with Ollie, is a character I should really colour in.
OC October Day 19 – Calvin
Look another TD OC and for some reason, it seems like the strangest OC I’ve designed so far. I have no idea why… It might be the hair mixed with the eyes. if I could colour this in, his clothes would be in very tacky colours. That jacket blazer type thing he’s wearing is something I found on Google and it would be green. Kinda dorky basically.
I think his main colour scheme would be green. He’s a Jinx and another character who I had before and revamped for this story. Though beforehand, I don’t really know if I had a good enough concept for him. I honestly don’t remember what it was. It was something but what was it exactly? Who knows. So he’s a Jinx because that’s something Total Drama hasn’t done before. He’s pretty optimistic though.
OC October 16 – Fiona Bryant-Cadogen
And here’s parents because they count as OCs. This is Terry’s mom and Neil’s aunt, Fiona. I’ve had her design in the works for a while and… even now I’m iffy on how it is. But I’m almost done drawing out the family at least from the members I care about at the moment!
I imagine that Fiona is the fun sorta mom. Though she’s very concerned for her daughter, nephew and brother.
