I was talking to my friend about useless superpowers and she mentioned one of “always looking fabulous”. I imagine Carsten would like that ability since he doesn’t care much about fashion. Even his suit was chosen by someone. He had a lot of problems trying to tie a tie on his own too so I drew this.
I remember seeing a picture on Pixiv of some DR characters being much older and for a while, I’ve been meaning to draw some thoughts of that with my characters. I’ve gotten to it recently. So here’s Peter at… I put he age 30 so Peter at 30.
I like the design! Doesn’t look that bad at all and he certainly looks older. I imagine he’d still be into fashion designing even at 30. At least he decided to cut his hair and make it less messier. Though I’m not too sure about how I feel of making them basically darker colours of the clothes his younger version usually wears (aside from the fact he’s actually wearing his jacket).
I’m serious look.
Well I like it nonetheless. Dunno if I’ll ever draw a full body ref but I definitely want to continue thinking about it for my other characters.
I imagine that when Carsten gets bored, he kinda twiddles his fingers or on this case, taps on the table (or whatever). I also realized I don’t draw a lot of people slouched or something so this was good practice.
Made another character based off an old Neopet I had from an account with a password I don’t even remember. She was a JubJub and my first pet on that account. Actually, funny story about Jackson’s name. When naming that JubJub, I was originally going to make it male and name it Jackson. I forgot to change the gender and didn’t realize it until after I pressed the Create button. However, I do not mind because I loved my JubJub, Jackson.
I’ve always wanted to see a character who has no use of arms to have a backpack containing mechanical arms that help them do things with their hands. I also decided to make them genderqueer so if it’s a bit hard to tell, that’s the reason why. Liking the concept! Not sure what I’d use them for but maybe casual roleplaying…? Maybe…
I asked my sister’s friend if she had a piece of paper and pencil I could borrow. She let me but the pencil is one of those shading pencils. I also don’t have an eraser. So they’re kinda… Eh.
I started drawing my DR OCs. Have some Webber expressions. I have seven other sketches involving them that I’ll post in singles later when I’m done.
This is what happens when you let me go back to Neopets. I bring back the characters I made of them, humanize them, therefore revamping more old OCs.
These are based my first two pets, my green Kacheek named Link and my yellow (possibly soon to be Faerie) Xweetok named Shimmer (because I was unoriginal in 2010). Or as their names actually are, Link6655 and Shimmer889977. … I wasn’t as smart in 2010.
I imagine them as faternal twins since I really like these two pets and I made Shimmer after Link. It’s a bit of representation of brains (Shimmer) and brawn (Link) too, but I also like to imagine they’re both strong and smart. Just one is more versed in one than the other but still fully capable of doing something involving the other.
I had this idea in my head today and I do imagine Thomas doing this.
This is now a canon thing.
I mean, he likes the fantasy and idea of royalty and such. This is one of the closest things he can do to making a castle. And forts protect people so.
