I remember how much fun I had with the trainer card maker and seeing it online again makes me happy. I think it’s had some identity crises but it seems to be fine now. So I’ve been creating Pokemon teams for my NLDR OCs (and likely later my main OCs since that’ll be fine).

Most of them kinda fit into this AU I have in mind which is why each of them have a starter and at least one Pokemon that can mega evolve. And honestly, filling that space in is fine with me considering some of them it’s hard to think of Pokemon if I try to go with a theme. Some not so much (mostly psychic, mostly grass-types) for example and then some are much harder since the second part won’t be made until I can finish the last four.

Finding appropriate trainer sprites was a tad bit annoying since some of them just didn’t work. It was quite hard. I think sometime later, I’ll edit them to look more like my NLDR OCs. It’d be a good way to pass the time and I like editing Pokemon trainer sprites. In fact, with Candace’s I don’t even think the sprite works I just went with a pun. But hope you like them!

Another thing I wanted to do with my NLDR OCs is change at least two of their first names. Other times, it’s been only last names but now we’re going first names.

So the most important one my eyes (since the other is Hyun-tae/Hyun as “Keiborul is a nickname that wouldn’t really apply anymore), would be for Francis or, Frankie as they are now called! Mostly because it’s much more gender neutral and sounds close to their previous name.

I was originally going to use this as my next 100 Themes Challenge picture but decided against it. I’m going to try and draw something else since the background was really frustrating me and I really hate it. But I do like the attempts at progress I made for this so… I guess I’m posting something unfinished. That’s a first.

It was a warm day last Sunday and I wanted to draw some of my OCs and this is apparently the idea that came into my head. For some reason, I can’t remember why, I imagined Francis owning a “Your waifu is shit” shirt. And I just thought of a dumb scenario when they drag Thomas out to sit near some comic store to see if anyone who comes out notices.

… Though they don’t know how long they’ll be there so they bought frozen yogurt

So I managed to finish this! At long last! Even though some of them still look a little bit awkward for me, I am surprised by how good they all look overall! It was fun making these even though some of them were pretty annoying to work on (especially the mounted units. I’m looking at you Wyvern Riders).

In case you didn’t see the preview I posted a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to do pixel/sprite edits of Awakening classes with my DR OCs with whatever Awakening classes I thought they would be. I wanted to make a full sheet since posting them individually would be too small but I will include single transparent versions underneath the cut.

This was fun to do and a part of me is tempted to try and make a full sprite sheet for someone even though I don’t know how to make gifs. I don’t know who (probably Lavinia because hers was the easiest). We’ll see though I have exams coming up soon so I’m glad to get this done now.

So yesterday was a bad day for me in the fact that I was suffering a lot from monthly pains. It wasn’t fun. Now I can complain about a stuffy nose but eh.

I decided someone was gonna have to suffer with me and yet couldn’t go all the way with it. Oh well! I wanted to draw Francis and Thomas again because I like drawing their relationship. They are great friends.

The pajamas Francis has on are based on these ones. I don’t know how you’re supposed to add your name to the “Your Name” part.

Just a preview basically on what I’m working on. Since I’m knee deeps in AUs involving my OCs, I’ve been working on a Fire Emblem one. Then I decided that for fun, I’d make pixels of what classes from Awakening I think they’d have but no special classes like Tactician or Lord.

I’ve finished the first row from the four and so far, I have 5/16 done. And yes, I am including them all into one because the pixels are relatively small. This is kind of annoying to do but in the end, I’m happy with the end result with… well… Three out of five of them though the two I’m not satisfied with it’s mostly because hair colouring was annoying. Overall though I’m happy and looking forward to finishing them all.
