I was going to mention that it’s been a while since I did a full-body reference and then I remember my FEH mock up I did a while back. Even though I still need practice on full-body pictures, I still think this is better than that one. Could still use work on anatomy (I doubt I got the knees right) though that’s what practice is for. Anyways, continuing onto my redesigning of my DR OCs, though this time with an actual coloured full-body reference. I’ve already got some redesigns decided on, whether they be small or big wardrobe changes like with Isabelle here.

For some quick info and design notes, Isabelle Amora is the Ultimate Matchmaker! Her design may seem a little odd ‘cause I put more of a reference of cats here. My general idea is “approachable” and having a soft and cute looking design helps with that. I also decided, while a heart motif is very matchmaker and can be quite cute, I also thought it’d be an interesting little twist to use cats. And it’s not like I’m going to completely abandon the heart idea. I mean, I still like her having a heart necklace and who knows? I may try to add a little bit of both.

Doodles from July 2 2017 – July 8 2017

Posting these earlier ‘cause I’m hankering to play Terraria to try and finish making a surface Mushroom Biome (I need more mud). So you know, when I get pre-occupied with playing a game, I have a tendency of forgetting to post one of these. Better do so while i’m still remembering and all.

Anyways, I’ve done some more OC doodles ‘cause the summer month has gotten me into it (especially the Ylissean Summer event in Heroes). Although they may not be summer clothes, and moe just casual clothes for the season (some of it is pretty summery like Lavinia’s which is practice on my part). At the top, you’ll also see some doodles I’ve had for a new OC I have. He’s Marilyn’s twin brother, whose more adept at magic. His name is Morrigan!

As for other things, aside from the one Minecraft 1 related HC series doodle (with Dean and McJones ‘cause of course it is), there are some Terraria OC doodles again. I’ve been thinking about mochi ice cream alot so I drew kinda like round mochi versions of some of ‘em (Marilyn of course and @who-needs-a-map‘s character, Rina and @wxy-arts‘s character, Sprite) and a small comic of Marilyn and Maria, the character that belongs to @milkyway-wisher.

I usually imagine what it would be like if some of my OCs became a couple as a way to think over relationships and when I imagine Peter and Isabella, they’re pretty cute.

Though I’m pretty attached to the idea of Peter not liking her cat and her cat not liking him either either. Her cat would hiss at him a couple of times, run away whenever he got too close and leave cat fur all over his clothes (which is especially annoying for him). Although he’s not going to say anything about the matter because Isabella really loves her cat.

Oooh, thank you! And sorry for taking a while! I’ve got like three things due in the next week and two of them are writing assignments… Finally got the time to sit down and think about this though!

2. Do they have any daily rituals?

When she wakes up, her priority is to sort out her hair. It’s pretty long so she makes sure it doesn’t get tangled up too much and of course, she needs to tie it. She always ties it up since she doesn’t want it getting in her way during the day. Usually, it’s tied into a braid but sometimes she’ll go for a simple ponytail. Especially since she still has a little trouble tying up a braid herself. She also likes afternoon walks in her neighbourhood. Only when it’s sunny though.

6. Eating habits and sample daily menu

I don’t know what it means by eating habits. I know some people eat messily or very neatly. Hmm… Well Isabella isn’t a messy eater. I can say that much.

As for a sample of a daily menu, here’s what I could come up with. Breakfast, it’s either toast or a croissant with strawberry jam, water and some kind of yogurt (weekends it’ll be tea and she may fry an egg). Lunch, it’s usually leftovers from dinner or a sandwich.  Especially since her and her mom eat soup a lot for no other reason than her mom finds it easier to make soup.

If you couldn’t tell, this was the hardest one to write.

9. Makeup?

Sometimes! Not too much casually though from time to time, she’ll apply some eyeliner if for no other than reason than she likes playing with eyeliner. She already spends a lot of time on her hair after all, she doesn’t want to waste more time with make up.

If she’s going for a more fancy get together like seeing family or a meeting with someone (date, advice session), she’ll apply lipgloss as well since it’s not as heavy feeling as lipstick (to her at least) and it’s easier to get off.
