So I was gonna draw (and still intend to) draw Peter throwing a tantrum a la Kylo Ren… Then I realized they’re kind of similar. Minus the fact emo jokes wouldn’t work with Peter.
So I made Peter’s new sprite with his new design but I need some advice for this one. Because, yes, his new sprite doesn’t have him wearing his glasses (which he still has. On the one I’m showing, he’d keep them in his blazer pocket) but I don’t know if I’ll keep the necklace part of it. With the outfit he has now, it doesn’t look right hanging from his neck. I tried different ideas but it all look awkward and I like how it looks without them anyways since I can’t properly draw glasses still.

If anyone has advice one what I could alternatively do, or just make it that he keeps them in his pocket, then I’m willing to listen. Overall, I’m glad the sprite overall looks good. … Oh and I made his hair look a bit cleaner.
Took some suggestions from @whatsupwithmymind and rolled up the sleeves of the blazer. It would likely look a bit different… I kind of doubt with the blazer I based it on it would look like this but, yeah this is a good idea.
Oh and I found some nice shoes to use. Can’t wait to colour this in. Thanks for the suggestion!
I’ve been looking through some fashion stuff to try and get a better sense (keyword: try) of fashion in order to come up with a better design for Peter.
It’s a shame to change it when I kept it the same for this long but I feel like I should. Make him seem more like a fashion designer but also be more casual. I dunno if I want to go with another blazer but whatever. I’ll try to make it resemble the first one as much as I can too.
Peter’s dad comes from the UK and for some reason decided to move to Australia. Five months living there, he lost one of his eyes because of magpies.
When Peter was younger, his older brother Jarrad convinced him to ask his dad if he was a pirate. His dad didn’t want Peter to be scared of birds by telling him the truth (even though it wouldn’t matter since he’d end up hating birds later on in life anyways), so he said he had to take care of his eyes or else they had the risk of falling out.
It wasn’t fun for Peter when his family learned he needed glasses since this scared him, making him think his eyes would fall out when he was an adult. And his mom wasn’t happy with his dad for telling him something like that.
With me keeping up with the new TD season, I knew that at some point I’d have to dress one of my OCs as one of the characters. But since I want to keep my way with my DR ones, I might do it with some of my main ones later. Maybe tomorrow when I post more doodles. Or tonight. You’ll see what I mean when I get to those.
Anyways, I was at a standstill until I remembered something. One of my problems when drawing Tom is telling myself “Don’t make him look like Peter.” So there was my idea and since I had the time to colour this in being stuck at home. Nothing special though. It may as well still be a doodle honestly.
At least with this, I know exactly what I’m drawing and that’s simply my OC. Though to be fair, Tom looks better in that shirt than Peter does. I think it’s the hair colour…
Drew more of these expressions and my DR OCs because these were fun to draw. I’m thinking of drawing at least one with all my DR OCs. I have like… 11 of them so I have five more to draw. I don’t know what I’ll draw with them in that case.
Though these were fun. Again, I don’t have a reason for choosing these expressions other than I wanted to.
