I decided since my art spriting has improved, I should work on changing up Webber’s a bit as well since it’s still pretty old. I’m satisfied with it but if I basically polished up the sprites I’ve done for the others, maybe it’s a good idea to make some changes to his.

My first idea was to change his hair up to look more shaggy and less like how I drew Sky’s hair. Also that’ll probably be the closest thing I have to giving him an ahoge in this. It’s interesting though. I’m pretty sure I made him look younger…

Well I tried.

New sprite for Vera with some adjustments to her colour palette too! Haven’t done that in a while.

As I said with the doodle, I wanted to change up her design to make her hair took a bit messier, change up her bangs so they’d look more like how I drew them here (since they look better), changed her glasses up and tried to make the jacket look baggie so it resembles a hand me down a bit more. It’s uhh… It’s alright.

As for colours, I wanted to make her eyes look more icier with a blue and I definitely like this a lot better. Along with that, I also made her hair seem more orange since I have thought that would be the case with her original hair colour but it was a different type of blonde. I decided to go with a more orange colour. … I tried to find a better one but I wasn’t sure and I was trying to avoid it looking like Candace’s.

So I mentioned that I wanted to change up the streaks in Lavinia’s hair because, while the older one actually does look better than the new one, it… doesn’t really reflect too well of her being good with hair styling. I’m still working on streaks.

So I tried to go more simple and while it looks too plain compared to when I’ve drawn her, I do kinda like it. But I should try and think of a better way for the sprites. Though this is different since I also did want to update her sprite. … Yet, again, I don’t think it’s that great looking. However, it is more polished so I’m just gonna have to get used to it.

So I made Peter’s new sprite with his new design but I need some advice for this one. Because, yes, his new sprite doesn’t have him wearing his glasses (which he still has. On the one I’m showing, he’d keep them in his blazer pocket) but I don’t know if I’ll keep the necklace part of it. With the outfit he has now, it doesn’t look right hanging from his neck. I tried different ideas but it all look awkward and I like how it looks without them anyways since I can’t properly draw glasses still.

If anyone has advice one what I could alternatively do, or just make it that he keeps them in his pocket, then I’m willing to listen. Overall, I’m glad the sprite overall looks good. … Oh and I made his hair look a bit cleaner.

It’s been a while since I’ve done some sprite edits for different expressions for my characters. Though I’ve also been doing that thing where I make a edit for a sprite of a character of the second or first, depending on what the original base is.

For Lavinia, her original base was Syo so I used Ibuki for a SDR2 sprite. Her pointing one in particular since I thought it’d be interesting. I make her a lot more serious with her sprites than how I imagine her personality which is serious sometimes.

I could’ve simply just updated the other time I posted this but… I don’t care. I updated the sprites (again) with the two I changed. And since I can’t think of anyone else who I want to change, and I will likely not let myself until I actually start writing this (so I can’t go back), it’s done.

I think.

Basically, a status sheet of sorts to keep track of whose dead and alive in my fic.

Yeah, Dahlia is the second person who I decided to re-do the sprite for. Although now I think I’m fully satisfied with how all the sprites look. I think.

… I think I truly am. But give me a couple of weeks and talk to me again, we’ll see exactly how long this claim lasts. Regardless, I mostly just wanted to adjust things and yeah, this looks much better than her other sprite.

Yay, finally did some changes with Setsuko’s sprite! Her neutral sprite looks alot more polished (also you may notice that random line on her old sprite… Yeah don’t ask I don’t know how that got there…)

I like this a lot more. I changed the belt to look more like a belt on a casual dress and adjusted her eyes and hair a bit. I like this a lot better. So there we go!

Ha ha I have a problem…

Look! Progress! Look at my progress! … I think this would be better if I had the first neutral sprite again. But I don’t want to make this too big of a pictures post.

Still, I made her jacket a cardigan instead and it’s a damn cute cardigan. So much pink! I love it. And now let’s hope I don’t decide to make anymore new sprites in a while.
