So after three attempts in trying to post this I can finally get to posting this doodle from a few days ago. Ari’s been showing me quite a few k-pop songs and so I’ve been thinking about Keiboru again. I’ve already had been thinking about his parents a bit too and so here we are.

His dad, Ryouta Teshima, is from Japan and works as a businessman. Lately though, he’s been really busy and had to stay in Japan for a while. He hasn’t had to visit home a lot but he does get his days when he can. When those days come, Keiboru likes to spend a day with him visiting places and telling him how things have been going with him and his mom.

I’ve been wanting to draw Keiboru looking more… “normal”. I consider this a talentswap of sorts (with my OCs) so I guess… SHSL Good Luck? Yeah i guess. Though this isn’t that good of a design for SHSL Good Luck Keiboru (or more appropriately, since I apply the nickname only with his main talent of being a k-pop star, Hyun-tae).

I like drawing his hair in its natural hair colour and with a more… downward style. Like just letting it flow as it is.

OC October 13 – Hyun-tae “Keiboru” Teshima

It’d be more fitting to feature a design for a new character I have on unlucky 13 but I can’t think of a decent design. As a matter of fact, I’ve been having a hard time thinking of decent designs for anyone new. So for the moment, Keiboru since he’s been on my mind.

Ahhh one of my first DR OCs. He’s been through quite a few personality changes since then. And a last name change. And a design tweak. He’s one of my faves for sure. … I am not kind to him though 🙂

Drew more of these expressions and my DR OCs because these were fun to draw. I’m thinking of drawing at least one with all my DR OCs. I have like… 11 of them so I have five more to draw. I don’t know what I’ll draw with them in that case.

Though these were fun. Again, I don’t have a reason for choosing these expressions other than I wanted to.

I wouldn’t say that I’d place them in their exact positions (I especially wouldn’t see Candace like Ice Bear). I just drew whichever one I wanted to draw the expression with.

Though I find Samson very tolerate of new people and if he doesn’t like them, he’ll be polite about it. The other two… Well Keiboru is eager at first but once they start to come off as a bother, he becomes less enthusiastic. And I feel Candace would be a similar case with Keiboru but her patience is a bit thinner.

For the palette thing could you draw one of my DR OCs with the 12th palette?

I remember I made a bunch of older ones but considering I changed up a lot of the sprites, I had to remake some of them. So introduction cards for my characters!

I said I’d be working on new sprite edits for whomever I drew up a new design for. I finally got one of them done! And I’m praying to myself that after I finish the second one, I can take a break for a while. But for now, here we have Keiboru’s new sprite with some details added to the jacket, added a collar necklace (I guess) and some more detail to his hat. I also lightened the shade of blue his shirt was.

I like it a lot and it looks better than his old sprites. It’s a good look for him.

OC Fact 4

Keiboru is used to plane rides since him and his band would travel. His first times though weren’t easy and his band members had to help him calm down when he got impatient.

Since we’re leaving today, I drew my grandpa one last thing. Selfie time because I had this idea running in my head for a while.

I assure you Samson is bending down to match eye level with his friends because he is very tall.
